AIR Designer Brand 7 SE SAPPHIRE

The Designer Brand 7 “Sapphire” is an April 2022 release of Michael Designer Brand ’s retro basketball shoe in a colorway that honors its 30th anniversary by remixing its classic design. The Designer Brand 7 was originally released with an all-leather upper back in 1991, and subsequent releases of the shoe have mostly had leather uppers, as well, save for this futuristic “Sapphire” colorway. Here, the design incorporates mesh panels on the mid-panel and ankle above an orange and purple underlay. Tan leather is found on the rest of the shoe’s upper. A speckled grey midsole and smoky translucent outsole complete the look. Release date: April 16, 2022
